The 2008 Korean International Jewelry & Watch Fair, joint organized by Korean Trade Association and Korean small & middle enterprises, will be held on 24-27 April 2008 in theCOEX Exhibition Center of Seoul.
Korean Trade Association is the most influencing economic organization in Korea, joined byover 100,000 member enterprises. The Korean International Jewelry & Watch Fair organized by such Association is the highest level jewelry fair in Korea, providing latest jewelry and watch information to industrial players and audience and displaying the most well-designed jewelries and watches in the world. During the Fair there will also be trade publicities,fashion shows, awards, seminars, press conferences, and trade fairs, enabling convenient communications of oversea attendees and visitors.
The coming Fair will be a new record in terms of scale and quantity of oversea attendees; it is predicted to have over 500 high-level attendees from 20 countries and over 30,000 purchasers from 57 countries to join the Fair. Experts believe such Fair will benefit wholesalers and resellers going to develop their international business network. It is alsodisclosed that the Fair specially invited the 1K-san Jewelry Museum, who is well-known for its prefect treatment & manufacturing techniques. In order to provide more comfortable communication environments, the Fair purposely adjusts its time to be end of the April. 

Last July the Korean Government announced to cancel the 20% special consumption tax for jewelries with effect from the end of 2008. Many clients present that such cancellation will encourage large amount of attendees to attend the 2009 Fair and it is thus important to early build the business relationship in this year’s Fair.
